I was interested to read this as Jo is a local girlHer sister has learning disabilities and her descriptions of how her family is affected by this are vividMusic is her great love and she communicates this very well including playlists of records that are important to her and explaining why Refreshing when so many musical figures neglect to mention music at all in their biogs Nit picking there were some typo's and some repetition that a good editor should have tidied upToo many vomiting episodes for me too In all a good easy read I read it in a day and an interesting one especially the parts about Glastonbury

I was interested as Jo is one of my favourite DJs however I just found it a bit too repetitive This book would have been so much better under the guidance of a good editor I would love to read an update though so I hope Jo writes a second part

I liked this book I love DJ Jo Whiley and her weekend BBC Radio 1 show The book was a little different than I expected its much of a retrospective looking back from where she is now I did read the book and hear her voice in my head I like the structure of the books especially enjoying the chapter on music festivals The playlist offered at the end of each chapter was fun sometimes and always interesting An enjoyable read
