About the Author: E.P. Clark

I started making up stories before I could read or write Most of them are blessedly forgotten But eventually I started writing things down and after a few decades I decided they were worth putting out into the world The Midnight Land was inspired by some reading I was doing for a medieval Russian literature class I was taking in grad school Now that it's out I'm starting work on the next

Hey look Fan ArtThis is a story as told through the eyes of Jordan and it is very much her story The narrative is told in her words and Jordan is street smart than book smart a little vague plus than a tad stand offish This does make the narrative all of those things but I think that EP did a good job of staying in form for the entire storyBesides who doesn't want to flee to Canada?

Sometimes I'm stunned at how someone can can up with a somewhat decent idea and then blow it This author writes like a grade schooler All action was glossed over I kicked Jackson in the knee stole his gun and killed the room full of men Um ok but how did that happen? There was a lot of butt stomping going on but the reader was only informed of it after the fact Not recommended This story is so bad that I've deleted it from my Kindle

A cautionary tale of what the world may be like if abortion becomes a crime punishable by death It had some promise but fell flat for me several times There were moments when a good action scene would have fit in but instead we are given I kicked him in the knees took his gun and killed everyone in the room Gets a bit heavy and preachy about abortion somewhere in the middle Heavy handed and horribly biased two characters talk about abortion with no one there to dispute or argue against their points Every time you have a baby you kill hundreds of others they claim It has been said that all writing is propaganda This certainly is I thought I was getting a story I got a sermon

Jordan is special she is gifted and she has been chosen to find Kyra The thing is there is a lot going on as the author takes readers on a fast paced thrill ride into a future where killer clones are what is being talked about and what we do personally is treated as a crime This is the first book I have read by this author and although it is short the author tells a great story and makes readers think of what may be coming

An action packed story set in an American where it is illegal to have an abortion Jordan a very powerful and highly trained operative is approached with a mission to rescue the daughter of a politician who has been captured by militants while travelling across the border to help her younger sister get an abortion but not everything is as it seems and as time goes on truths are unravelled I normally don't read action packed books but I found this to be a uick and easy read
