Wise Cocktails What I liked most about this book is that it contains a LOT of recipes so even though there are a lot with ingredients I don't care for like ginger and hibiscus there are also a lot that sound yummy Some of the unexpected ingredients also made me realize I could experiment and create my own tea concoctions I liked that it included several food recipes and I can't wait to try the tea spiced pecans which sound like it might make a nice hostess gift over the holidays There is also a section of non alcoholic drinks such as smoothies and sodas that I will definitely try What I liked less is that the recipes are almost all for a single serving and many of them are way effort than I will ever put into making a single cocktail I would have liked to have seen a section on doubling or uadrupling or the recipes and on how to keep drinks or ingredients to use later Worth noting About half the book calls for their own brand of tea but they do give you enough information about what each is like that you could probably produce a close approximation of the recipe with other teasingredients And who knows your substitutions could be even betterThis is a fun addition to my cookbook library and I thank the publisher and Goodresds Firsdtreasds program for the review copy I received I am going to buy one as a Christmas gift for a friend I know will love it It had a lot of good ideas for tea based drinks I hope the writers will write one that is teen and child friendly for libraries It is great for those who want to experiment with tea Owl's Brew the first blended tea concentrate designed to pair seamlessly with a variety of spirits including champagne wine and even beer has transformed the DIY cocktail movement In Wise Cocktails Owl's Brew founders Jennie Ripps and Maria Littlefield take you on a journey to learn about the health benefits of tea tips on brewing and the history of tea cocktails Featuring recipes for cocktail and tea creations plus recipes for nonalcoholic tea sodas and smoothies and tea infused cocktail snacks this is the perfect book for the mixologist in all of us
