Writing a review of this book is a big venture. I can't do it. I just place my experiences and emotions.Initially, getting into this book takes a bit time and effort. సముద్రం అలలు మనల్ని బయటకు తోసినట్టు. This is a book which while being read can make the reader very well aware of the writing prowess of the author through the beauty of the juxtapositions and practical anecdotes analyzing human lives. The way GMR sir explains seemingly mundane human emotions with extraordinary analogies and wordplay is excellent.

Gollapudi Maruti Rao’s “Saayankalamaindi” resurrects the nostalgia about the rural societies and makes a strong social commentary about the transformation that intimately tangled many social relations. It is a brilliant novel that needs much self analysis and deep dive into questioning our beliefs and practices narrated through the lives of excellent characters. Full Text:
