It has been a few years since I have read one of the Disney Fairies early chapter books, which my daughter really enjoys, and I found that I delighted to read Tink, North of Never Land I thought that it was a nice touch to included Peter Pan and the Lost Boys in this story After all, we were introduced to Tinker Bell in the first Peter Pan movie by Walt Disney way back in 1953 Thus, kids have loved Tinker Bell now for almost 60 years. This book is all about how Tink has made a mistake by takin It has been a few years since I have read one of the Disney Fairies early chapter books, which my daughter really enjoys, and I found that I delighted to read Tink, North of Never Land I thought that it was a nice touch to included Peter Pan and the Lost Boys in this story After all, we were introduced to Tinker Bell in the first Peter Pan movie by Walt Disney way back in 1953 Thus, kids have loved Tinker Bell now for almost 60 years. This book is all about how Tink has made a mistake by taking her anger out on her best friend She then loses him as a friend and she feels that she must do something special to earn back his friendship Since fairies never apologize, she decides to go on a long journey north and try to find the last of the pixie dust from a tree that died out many years ago She will give Terence some of this pixie dust as a present with the hope that he will want to be her friend again All of this could have been avoided if she had only tried to speak with Terence before she left I m sure he would have been happy to be her best friend again, because he was missing Tink s friendship also.Tink, North of Never Land teaches children that if they do lash out when something goes wrong, that they need to go talk with the friend they hurt and work things out An apology is sometimes all that is needed If you keep something like this inside and don t talk about it, the situation will only get worse.I really enjoyed this story by Kiki Thorpe and found the addition of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys to be a treasure The artwork by Judith Holmes Clark, Adrienne Brown Charles Pickens is absolutely perfect The artwork in these early chapter books are something Walt Disney himself would approve of.Overall, Tink, North of Never Land is another excellent Disney Fairies book filled with misunderstandings and adventure If your daughter is having a tough time getting into early chapter books, maybe you should try one of these Disney Fairies books I know that my daughter absolutely loves them.I rated this book a 9 out of 10

As sweet as all of the others I like this series a lot.My only issue with this series is that male fairies are called sparrow men instead of fairies.

You know, I feel like this was a starting point for the movie Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure There are many similarities One, the story is centered around Tinkerbell and Terence It even goes as far to mention that they appreciate one another Terence likes Tink s dimples and her blonde hair Tink likes his smile or something like that and how sweet he is She then realized she was staring at him and looked away Am I the only one who sees some sort of romance here I ship Tinkerbell x Ter You know, I feel like this was a starting point for the movie Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure There are many similarities One, the story is centered around Tinkerbell and Terence It even goes as far to mention that they appreciate one another Terence likes Tink s dimples and her blonde hair Tink likes his smile or something like that and how sweet he is She then realized she was staring at him and looked away Am I the only one who sees some sort of romance here I ship Tinkerbell x Terence either way, though.Second, a fairy friend finds a compass and reluctantly lets Tink have it Tink and Terence then take it to her house where, after shrinking it a smidge which I didn t even know fairies could do xD , Terrence pushes it through the door Which then causes it to break a special silver bowl of Tink s Which then causes Tink to explode and tell Terrence to go away forever Similarity to the movie here as well, except no scepter for the blue moon Third, after a few times of seeing Terence with other fairies since he was trying to do what she said, Tink soon finds herself jealous She later goes to a theater and finds herself jealous of Rosetta and listens to a story from a story telling fairy Although it s not the same one from the movie, it was a starting point for Tink to find a gift for Terence and become friends again. The huge differences from here on is that she eventually bumps into Peter Pan, her old friend, and the Lost Boys as well as not finding the treasure nor having Terence show up in the end Overall, seems similar to the movie I don t know why I examined the book I own and compared it to the movie, but it was really fun PI wonder if the other books have anything similar as well

A cute story and a very good lesson about frienship, fighting and apologies, but I had a couple complaints. It was strange that Terrance was the only boy fairy At least, I felt like it was strange There was a weird sexual tension kind of happening, where it was like Terrance had feelings for Tink Then when he couldn t be her friend any, he was spending time with all of Tink s female friends which in turn made her jealous If he had hung out with at least one boy fairy it would have felt l A cute story and a very good lesson about frienship, fighting and apologies, but I had a couple complaints. It was strange that Terrance was the only boy fairy At least, I felt like it was strange There was a weird sexual tension kind of happening, where it was like Terrance had feelings for Tink Then when he couldn t be her friend any, he was spending time with all of Tink s female friends which in turn made her jealous If he had hung out with at least one boy fairy it would have felt less of a romantic issue andof a platonic one Idk, maybe that s my adult mind effecting how I read the story The other thing that bothered me was that Tink mentions how she shouldn t take a balloon carrier without asking the queen, but she does anyways Then she loses the balloon carrier and worries about what the queen and Terrance will think Due to the target age range I get why they didn t go into consequences for this, but then it shouldn t have been brought up as an issue at all because now it s been left unresolved It just as easily could have been a free for all take out a balloon carrier if you need one and then Tink is upset she lost hers because it had her things Then it wouldn t have needed any additional resolution at the end of the book

Tink and Terence is the ultimate friend zoned couple. LOL I get this hunch ever since I watched Tink s movie I know they re best friends, but I can t help wondering if fairies have romantic feelings like human. In page 10, it was stated that He liked Tink, though it s because he admired her talent for fixing things. Then in page 12, Tink agreed that Terence is sweet, though it s because he would do anything to help a friend and he s also very talented However, Tink couldn t stop thinking that hi Tink and Terence is the ultimate friend zoned couple. Tink North of Never Land by Kiki Thorp was one of my favorite reads as a child and reading it again as an adult was no disappointment The beloved character Tinker bell Goes on a quest to find magical pixie dust for one of her best friends, and through her conquest she learns about the true meaning of friendship This story is a perfect book for a young child just started in cheater books, and it teaches valuable lessons about friendship and kindness while all being about one of the worlds most Tink North of Never Land by Kiki Thorp was one of my favorite reads as a child and reading it again as an adult was no disappointment The beloved character Tinker bell Goes on a quest to find magical pixie dust for one of her best friends, and through her conquest she learns about the true meaning of friendship This story is a perfect book for a young child just started in cheater books, and it teaches valuable lessons about friendship and kindness while all being about one of the worlds most famous ferries I think this book is a great starter book as it uses very simple language but also has good figurative language that makes it interesting to read Overall, I believe this to be a great first book given to a young girl in looking to start chapter book reading

Ah, finally A book featuring my favorite fairy ship Tink x Terence I know the book s try to keep their relationship as platonic as possible, but honestly, I can still totally see it blossoming into a romance And I think the author of this little story agrees with me Also, is it just me, or is this the almost exact same plot as the second Tinker Bell movie, The Lost Treasure Coincidence I think not
